Est. 1864

A confectioner’s house

HM1864 is the continuing story of Hafiz Mustafa — baklava, Turkish delight, and gifts made with the same patience that opened the first shop.

  1. 1864

    A shop opens in Istanbul

Hafiz Mustafa begins as a neighbourhood confectioner — phyllo rolled thin, sherbet measured by hand, and recipes kept close.

  2. 1900s

    Craft becomes reputation

Word travels beyond the quarter. Baklava, delight, and coffee become the house’s quiet signature — made the same way, day after day.

  3. Mid-century

    Guarding the recipes

Through changing times, the kitchen holds to natural sugar, butter, nuts, and patience. No shortcuts that would dull the taste.

  4. Today

    The same house, farther shores

From Istanbul to Dubai and beyond, HM1864 carries the same craft forward — boxes filled with care, for gifts and everyday pleasure alike.
